In a lot of pain right now. I try, however, to be one who doesn't complain.

Throbbing head.
Loss of movement.
Loss of thoughts.
Brain feeze.
Blarg....

Agitated and irritated.
Pain and loss of blood.
Falling, but flying.
Thread through the knee.
Rips in new shorts.
Sandal lost.
Towel caught.
These are the adventures of
a wannabe cliff-jumper...

Last night I fell down a cliff. My friend and I were trying to get down to this swimming area so that we could swim across and then go cliff jumping. We couldn't find the actual trail so we sort of made our own. We were going down this cliff and she was almost at the bottom of it so I started going down it. I thought I was doing fine and then all of a sudden I was going really fast. I opened my eyes and pain shot all through my body. I don't really know what happened, but she said I flew over her head. :S One of my sandals got lost and my towel is a gonner, too. I almost lost my bag which contained my camera and cell phone and numerous other valuable items; "luckily" for me, my bag ended up in a twisted not around my body. I lay there stunned for a couple of minutes and then worked my way down the rest of the "path". Once at the bottom we further inspected my injuries and decided that I needed to see a doctor. Not my choice of conclusions. I was dizzy and nauseated. My friend swam across to the other side of the water to see if she could find an easier path for us to go up. No such luck. So, we started going up the embankment that I had just fallen down, but ended up vearing to the left. After a long hall and creating yet another trail for ourselves we finally found the real trail. We hiked the real trail back up to the road and just a couple minutes before the road we found the
real path. Once at the parking lot, we realized that the park had been closed for almost an hour and a half. She struggled to open the gate, but thankfully succeeded. At the hospital I was asked numerous times what sort of adventure i had just embarked on. Dirt covered me, cuts had become the main surface of my body and I was walking like a drunk - with no shoes. [Five] stitches later and with a pamphlet about concussions I was on my way to the store to get Gobstoppers... and the home. - These are the adventures of Daniella and Megan -

Stood on the edge, tied to the noose, you came along and you cut me loose.

I just finished writing my first post, but then I realized I had failed to mention the meaning of my name. My dream is to have a magazine named "Restrictions?" one day. The reason why I want it to be called this is because I believe that there is no such thing as restrictions in the life of a teenager. Some people would take this as rebellious or as the attitude of an anarchist, but I just have an opinion and strong beliefs. I want to reach out to teens in a way that we need to be reached out to. My generation is full of crap. We see it all around us - in our families, our friends, the media. There's no magazine out there today that is truthful and actually focuses on what it is really like to be a teenager. This one will. Part of it will be for teens, by teens. I'm starting here. Someone close to me always taught me to start small, stay small, and when no one's expecting anything blow up. That's my plan. If you have anything that you want people to here or you want to know more about or want to see put in the spot light then e-mail me at breathforlife@hotmail.com and I'll see to it that you're heard.

Well, this is my first post. I wish I had something profound or worth-while to say, but I don't feel I do at this point. I'm feeling dark and mysterious, but also alone and afraid. Perhaps this'll mean something:

The clock ticks away
I wish you were here
No matter what I do
You get farther away
My breathe comes from you
My pain comes from you
To live or to die
Is the decision made by you
My life is yours
You took control
When you first came in
And now I am yours
Even though I want nothing more
Than to be detatched
