The trip to Greece is still trucking along. We're starting to finalize some more plans. I'm really quite excited about it.

I had requested a leave-of-absence at work and the head of my department had said there would be no problem with me getting one. Yesterday I was pulled into my bosses office and she told me that I can't have the leave anymore. Oh well, when I get home in August I'll just start over. New apartment, new job.

Only 23 more work days left until I leave. So happy. The day won't come soon enough. I've never been out of North America, so I think that is where most of excitement stems from.

Anywho, Mike is making fun of me for blogging, so I'm going to shimmy on out for tonight. PZ.

Well well well... It has been a long time indeed! I've been looked out of my account for a while.. It's almost been a year since I last posted!! That's unbelievable!

Anyway, a lot has happened - where to start?

I'm going to Greece in May. I've always dreamed of going to Greece one day so here I am! The plan is to fly into London, fly down to Rome, take the ferry over to Greece and then travel over to Ios Island. We're planning on staying for 2-3 months. So excited! I've only ever been on a plane for like 30 minutes so this should be interesting.

I just moved out of my apartment so I am living "elsewhere" now. Just moved yesterday - what a work out - blah.

Still madly in love, still over the top happy... Hope all my peeps are doing well too. :)

LIFE KICKS @$$.

I'm now living downtown Vancouver. I told ya'all I'd do it! In yo' face!! haha. Anyway, I love it. I'm about 3 blocks away from the beach. I've got a kick butt job, and still leaching on to the most amazing guy ever!! *kiss kiss*.

Couldn't be any happier. Life is grand.

This is a really great India Arie song that I love called "Ready For Love".

I am ready for love
Why are you hiding from me
I'd quickly give my freedom
To be held in your captivity
I am ready for love
All of the joy and the pain
And all the time that it takes
Just to stay in your good grace
Lately I've been thinking
Maybe you're not ready for me
Maybe you think I need to learn maturity
They say watch what you ask for
Cause you might receive
But if you ask me tomorrow
I'll say the same thing
I am ready for love
Would you please lend me your ear?
I promise I won't complain
I just need you to acknowledge
I am here
If you give me half a chance
I'll prove this to you
I will be patient, kind, faithful and true
To a man who loves music
A man who loves art
Respect's the spirit world
And thinks with his heart
I am ready for love
If you'll take me in your hands
I will learn what you teach
And do the best that I can
I am ready for love
Here with a offering of
My voice
My Eyes
My soul
My mind
Tell me what is enough
To prove I am ready for love
I am ready

I'm finding that love is terrifying, yet so amazing! It's made me feel so vulnerable but also on top of the world; terrified yet my happiest; afraid of messing up but excited to have someone to catch me when I fall; still emotional but now with a shoulder to cry on; and more and more satisfied with life. I never imagined I could feel this way.
